Overview and Responsibilities

Nickelodeon has a significant role for a Business Strategist to work with Nickelodeon's VP Growth Strategy! Marketing to identify and concept marketing strategies in support of new lines of business and partnerships, across all platforms. The Strategist will be taking a holistic approach in working hand-in-hand with the Business Strategy group as well as across other divisions of ViacomCBS, supporting the ViacomCBS Kids & Family Entertainment Group. This role will encourage that all Nickelodeon content will be supported by strategic branding, creating best in class partnerships and maximizing Nickelodeon’s exposure. In addition, they will work directly with Nickelodeon’s CMO, supporting a variety of special projects. We'd love to hear from you!




  • Evaluate marketing requirements and branding opportunities within new business, partnerships, business development deals, and other strategic growth initiatives
  • Develop and present best practices to bring these opportunities to market
  • Work closely with team members and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams and external partners; synthesize key conclusions and deliver recommendations to senior executives
  • Cultivate and maintain productive and effective relationships within Nickelodeon (Business Strategy, Programming, Development, Ad Sales, Corporate Development, Consumer Products, Finance and Legal) as well as all relevant groups across the ViacomCBS universe
  • Establish productive relationships with key players across the group and Viacom
    Manage multiple projects and drive each forward, ensuring clear communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams and external partners
  • Manage and drive special projects initiated by the CMO
  • Support the CMO in the articulation of Marketing's strategic initiatives and vision, including, but not limited to: presentation decks, speeches, and talking points for both internal and external events

Basic Qualifications

  • BA Degree, MBA Preferred
  • 7+ years in a strategy/business development or consulting role, preferably within the media & entertainment or tech industry

Additional Qualifications

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with excellent project management skills and finely tuned ability to work within cross-functional teams
  • Proven presentation skills, with the ability to generate high-impact presentations, appropriate for the Board of Directors, other Senior Executives, trade and press events
  • Strong ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Strategic thinker who can also execute with attention to detail
  • Proven record of strong initiative & ownership of tasks and quality deliverables
