    Overview and Responsibilities

    We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst, WW Compliance & Controls who will be capturing, organizing, and preparing financial data to support with compliance audits, and providing support for internal projects, such as international tax filings and transactional data analysis!

    Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:

    • Assist with external auditors and internal auditors and in-house supporting documentation requests including third parties’ audits of Paramount, US GAAP external audits, and international statutory audits
    • Perform data extractions and prepare reports to support and reconcile account balances
    • Reconcile and review the propriety and reasonableness of financial data received by the various divisions as reported and investigate any unusual activities
    • Compile financial data, and remove extraneous data, or redact confidential documentation as deemed necessary prior to providing to external parties
    • Ensure the integrity of the account reconciliations, financial models and quality of spreadsheets used in analysis and provided to the respective parties
    • If unusual data attributes are identified, coordinate with the appropriate supervisor as to the accurate disposition of these items and analyze and handle any corrections or adjustments,
    • Assist with locating archived records in support of third-party audits
    • Perform projects such as research, special projects, and data analysis as needed

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting or related-field and/or courses
    • Minimum 3 years related work experience

    Additional Qualifications

    • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
    • Highly organized, detail oriented, with Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Experience working in a team-setting and reporting to different supervisors on different tasks with
    • Willingness to accept responsibility for projects/processes and ability to work with limited direct supervision
    • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to multi-task and handle a heavy workload in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment
    • Public accounting (audit) or internal audit experience preferred
    • CPA candidate or CPA designation are a plus
    • Strong (and current) technical knowledge of GAAP preferred with aptitude for data analysis or data warehousing skills (SAP, Access, Hyperion)
    • Prior entertainment experience preferred
