    Overview and Responsibilities

    Work as a member of the Business and Legal Affairs team that supports the Pluto TV business team in a broad variety of matters arising from the distribution of the Pluto TV service.

    • Provide general legal support to the Distribution and Business Development BALA team in connection with distribution of Viacom programming and ancillary content on a variety of platforms, including cable and satellite television, wireless, and OTT.
    • Coordinate contract database and records system
    • Assist with regulatory compliance
    • Additional support to attorneys as needed, including drafting and reviewing legal documents, memoranda, correspondence and support materials.

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree and minimum of five years of experience in a legal support role or J.D. is required.
    • Excellent drafting, analytical and organizational skills.
    • Strong ability to conduct legal research, analysis and reasoning as well as excellent drafting, negotiation, communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task to cover a high volume of deals and work autonomously is an absolute requirement.
    • Familiarity and experience with contracts and legal concepts, knowledge of intellectual property, entertainment, technology, privacy and/or internet law is a plus.
    • Experience in the media industry is preferred.
