    Overview and Responsibilities

    BET+ is the new subscription VOD service from BET Networks, targeting African Americans and lovers of Black content. Launching fall 2019, BET+ will offer an array of premium content, including fan-favorite film, TV series, and specials and exclusive originals from Tyler Perry, Will Packer, Tracy Oliver, and many more.

     

    As Director, User Acquisition Marketing for BET+, you will be a key leader of our growing marketing team. You will be responsible for the strategy, planning and execution to our customer’s acquisition strategy. The Director will own the growth of new subscribers and new subscriber revenue. We are looking for a highly experienced, data driven marketer to lead all aspects of our customer acquisition efforts.

    • Define and own the acquisition strategy, planning, creative, execution, and optimization for all search, mobile, paid social and display channels to maximize subscriber growth, ROI and Customer Lifetime Value
    • Define budget allocation and optimization across all channels
    • Monitor, test, and improve performance across all acquisition channels, providing actionable recommendations to maximize KPIs
    • Manage the relationship with digital media agencies and marketing platforms to ensure flawless execution of acquisition campaigns
    • Lead innovation across acquisition channels to maximize performance
    • Working with cross-functional teams to ensure marketing operations efficiencies

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
    • Minimum 7 years of performance marketing experience in ecommerce, preferably with a technology company that has a subscription business and/or has strong IP
    • Significant experience with attribution models, data analytics, and trafficking
    • Deep knowledge and expertise in digital marketing, with key focus on programmatic display, search and paid social
    • Has sharp critical thinking and ability to translate quantitative & qualitative consumer data/insights into a strong, targeted marketing strategy
    • Experience defining success metrics and delivering on key metric targets with a drive for results
    • Output focused with aptitude to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously and drive towards implementation and results
    • Demonstrated project management, planning and time management skills
    • Fun, energetic, and collaborative personality
    • A strong passion for entertainment and/or music a plus
