    Overview and Responsibilities

    The Promotion Scheduling & Strategy team at Paramount Network is responsible for the long-term and short-term strategic promotion and scheduling of the linear domestic, Canada and Caribbean channels. The Promotion Strategy team oversees the following:

    • Strategically scheduling promos and graphics on Domestic, Canada and Caribbean channels
    • Requesting work orders and graphic requests for on air promotion
    • Scheduling mobile push notifications, Homepage promotion and promos within streaming episodes on Paramount Network’s site, app and On Demand platforms.

    Responsibilities: 

    • Execute linear media plan strategy across Paramount Network Domestic and International logs:
    • Write and input all primary (promos, interstitials) and secondary (graphics, credit crunches) elements on assigned logs
    • Ensure sponsor and barter commitments are executed as planned
    • Maintain formats in the traffic system
    • Tech QC logs for accuracy
    • Report start/end times of Original premieres to Research department
    • After-hours on-call and screening duties for high profile premiere nights and live events
    • Make changes (in e-log) after logs have been finalized
    • Strategic QC of Paramount and Paramount Caribbean linear program logs, ensuring all promos, interstitials, sponsored, and graphic elements are executed properly as outlined in the media plans
    • Understand long and short term programming goals as well as the state of the networks in relationship to projections and how this information affects promotional strategy

    Basic Qualifications

    • A minimum of 1 year experience scheduling/executing promotional strategy within scheduling applications (traffic systems and programming internships applicable)

    • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
    • Proven ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Proficient in Excel
