    Overview and Responsibilities

Noggin, Nickelodeon’s preschool online video subscription service, has big dreams and we’re looking for a Manager of User Acquisition. You'll break new ground and be a pioneer in this role, as you help lead the creation of Viacom's first-ever direct to consumer product.  In this role you'll be building an acquisition marketing machine from the ground up with support from managers with outstanding leadership and direct to consumer experience.

You may not be an expert in every marketing area, but you're willing to put the time and effort into becoming one. 

     

    This role will drive subscriber acquisition via digital channels including paid search, paid social, display, email, a/b testing, etc. You’ll work with product, engineering, creative and analytics to aggressively hit growth targets. You will be a data-driven growth marketer that can optimize current marketing initiatives and identify new opportunities to grow the business. This role is based out of our NYC office and will report to the Director of User Acquisition. Are you ready for a challenge?

    Responsibilities

    • Aggressively pursue opportunities to grow the business
    • Expertly deploy acquisition budget to hit daring budget targets.
    • Lead funnel optimization efforts in tandem with product and analytics
    • Define customer segmentation strategy to enable efficient customer acquisition across responsible channels
    • Collaborate with acquisition marketing team members to align efforts and improve group performance
    • Work with Distribution Partners to drive Noggin content and service promotions
    • Partner with internal teams to promote the Noggin service on O&O properties.

    Basic Qualifications

    • Aggressive problem-solver who goes over, around, or through blockers and finds a way to get things done
    • 3-5+ years growth marketing experience in fast-growing companies
    • Proven track record in growth experimentation and funnel optimization
    • Working knowledge of ad tech stack, including tracking and measurement, bid management/automation, and attribution.
    • Direct-response, performance marketing, and paid advertising background.
    • In depth experience in one or more of the following acquisition channels: Display, Social, SEO/SEM, mobile, and video. DRTV experience is an added plus. Experienced with lifecycle marketing with specific focus on driving conversion from signup to paid.
    • Cross-functional team experience, working with marketing, product, engineering, analytics, creative and finance to drive performance.
    • Highly analytical with hands on experience pulling data, building reports and analyzing large sets of data.

    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
